Welcome

Welcome to the 2012-13 Intersession website. Here you will find all the information you need to register for classes during this special session. Typically students find the Intersession courses desirable for those that wish to graduate early, repeat course work to graduate on time, to lighten a heavy spring semester or for financial reasons as Intersession is offered for flat tuition. Intersession offers over 30 courses in various disciplines to help students. All three credit courses for Intersession are taught within 11 days during the winter closing schedule. The Summer Studies and Intersession Office will be open each day during the session from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Facilities and services open during the session are listed here as well for your information. We hope this site will help with planning your visit to VCU if you are a new or continuing student as services and hours of operation for departments are limited during the session. Please contact the Summer Studies and Intersession Office with any questions at summer@vcu.edu or (804) 827-4586.
